VOSS Automotive has a broad spectrum of mechanically controlled valves that perform a variety of functions on various vehicle pneumatics, fuel, coolant and oil-hydraulic media. The range currently consists of about 160 different valve types. This edition will present one valve type, the SAE supply connector.
These valves facilitate filling an engine with fuel from the outside and are used in Europe for one-way flow. This is in contrast to the US, where this special supply connector is also used for two-way flow applications.
The valve body is made from coated steel. An M14 thread is used to install the supply connector on the engine. Other thread dimensions can be implemented. The connector adheres to the SAE J 1502 standard.
Short term exposure up to 140°C is possible at a standard deployment temperature exposure range of -30°C to 90°C and filling pressures of up to 10 bar.
Depending on customer need, the valve can be equipped with differently dimensioned springs, which ensure the required seal to the outside.
This supply connector is yet another building block VOSS Automotive has in its portfolio to address vehicle modularity and functionality for world-wide use.
