Masters of Quality Award for VOSS USA and VOSS Mexico

This year, two VOSS companies were among the 64 manufacturers selected to receive the Masters of Quality Award of Daimler Truck North America (DTNA). Both VOSS Automotive, Inc. and VOSS Automotive Mexico were awarded with the highest recognition Daimler gives to its suppliers.
Thousands of companies worldwide provide Daimler with components. But only the most elite suppliers that meet or exceed Daimler’s stringent quality standards and show a commitment to continual improvement are recognized. Suppliers are evaluated semi-annually on their quality, delivery, technology and cost performance.
For three years running, VOSS Automotive, Mexico, received the award for excellence in supplying electrically heated SCR lines, coolant lines and assemblies, customized for Daimler’s vehicles.
“Our diligent focus on operational excellence is key to providing our customers with the highest quality products, service and support,” said Jesus Navarro, Plant Manager at VOSS Mexico. “Receiving the Daimler Trucks North American Masters of Quality Award three years in a row further validates our commitment to always exceeding the status quo. We value our long-standing relationship with Daimler Trucks, and we appreciate this recognition.”
VOSS USA achieved the Daimler Trucks North America Masters of Quality Award for the second consecutive year. VOSS Automotive, Inc., is responsible for sales, distribution, quality, accounting and engineering support for Daimler.

Keith E. McGee, Supplier Management Specialist, and Mike Vallieres, Supplier Management DTNA Quality Engineer, of Daimler Trucks presented the Masters of Quality Awards for 2015 to both VOSS teams in Mexico and USA during two separate ceremonies, held in September and October.
